Creamy Tahini Dressing

3 TBSP sesame seeds                                      ¼ cup canola oil

½ cup tahini                                                      ¼ cup tamari or soy sauce

¼ cup lemon juice                                             pinch of cayenne

¼ cup sesame oil                                              1 tsp dried dill or parsley

 

  Toast sesame seeds in dry skillet or in a hot oven (350) several minutes, tossing often.  Cool and mix with remaining ingredients and ¼ cup water

  Toss with tatsoi, fresh sliced red pepper, and steamed green beans for a fun Asian style salad.

 

*also delicious for use on regular salad greens and spinach.
