font-family: Times New Roman;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">We do our best to make sure you get a variety of different tomatoes in your share.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">\u00a0 <\/span>You\u2019ll receive some that are ripe and ready to eat when you get them, and others that may need a day or two to ripen.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: small; font-family: Times New Roman;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">Storage and Handling:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">If your tomatoes are soft to the touch with a light squeeze then they are ready for use immediately.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">\u00a0 <\/span>Otherwise you can keep them in a sun free spot on your counter top until they are ready to use.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: small; font-family: Times New Roman;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: small; font-family: Times New Roman;\">Please note that tomatoes can be ripe, but still firm.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">\u00a0 <\/span>Look for full vibrant color in your tomato.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">\u00a0 <\/span>Also note that heirloom tomatoes will ripen quicker than beefsteaks; these should be used first if ripe.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">\u00a0 <\/span>Colors on heirlooms vary depending on the variety, see <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Variety<\/span> sections below for descriptions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: small; font-family: Times New Roman;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: small; font-family: Times New Roman;\">Store ripe tomatoes on your counter top, out of the sun, for several days.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">\u00a0 <\/span>NEVER store tomatoes in the refrigerator.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">\u00a0 <\/span>Cold temperatures will begin to denature the tomatoes\u2019 flesh so they become mealy and lose their sweet flavor.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: small; font-family: Times New Roman;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">Heirloom Tomato Varieties:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: small; font-family: Times New Roman;\">*Farmers\u2019 Note: Heirloom tomatoes are \u2018old time\u2019 tomatoes that have been bread specifically for their flavor.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">\u00a0 <\/span>They are often lumpy and odd shaped with some visible black \u2018hard\u2019 spots.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">\u00a0 <\/span>This is NORMAL for heirloom tomatoes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: none;\"><span style=\"font-size: small; font-family: Times New Roman;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Brandywine:<\/span> Amish heirloom variety with medium to large rose-colored fruit, often called the \u2018best tasting heirloom around\u2019.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">\u00a0 <\/span>These tomatoes are arguably the sweetest.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: small; font-family: Times New Roman;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Cherokee Purple:<\/span> Tennessee heirloom variety with medium size dusky rose\/purple fruit.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">\u00a0 <\/span>This fruit will have a green rim around the stem, even when ripe.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">\u00a0 <\/span>A sweet, full, and rich tomato flavor with a deep red almost maroon flesh on the inside, quickly becoming one of the more popular varieties of heirlooms. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;
