font-family: Times New Roman;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman;\">Storage and Handling:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: small; font-family: Times New Roman;\">Broccoli is best used within 3 days but can be stored for up to a week in your fridge crisper drawer wrapped loosely in a plastic bag.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">\u00a0 <\/span>It\u2019s important that the bag is not airtight; broccoli needs room to breathe even after it\u2019s been harvested.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: small; font-family: Times New Roman;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: small; font-family: Times New Roman;\">Before use, soak your broccoli upside down in water so that any stow away critters can float to the top and be removed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: small; font-family: Times New Roman;\">Broccoli can be roasted, steamed, boiled, saut\u00e9ed, cooked in soups, baked, and eaten raw in your salad or as crudit\u00e9s.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">\u00a0 <\/span>Don\u2019t overcook your broccoli or it will become mushy and lose most of its nutritional value.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">\u00a0 <\/span>When broccoli is cooked, it should still be bright green and crisp.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: small; tab-stops: list .5in;\"><span style=\"font-size: small; font-family: Times New Roman;\">Blanch in boiling water for about 1 minute and then immediately transfer to an ice bath to stop the cooking and cool the broccoli.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt;
